Similarly to the blue triangle trail, this trail also starts from Niculesti Forest Lodge and shares its route with the blue triangle trail up to Cindrel Mountain Hut. The section of the trail that runs from this point to Iezerul Mare tarn is not recommended by the Mountain Rescue Service.
